How to schedule posts on Facebook

[fblike]News alert: I use Facebook a lot – but not as much as it appears I do.

There’s times when it looks like I’m posting at 7.00am or 11.00pm, except that I’m probably tucked up in bed fast asleep. You might be wondering how that’s possible. It’s called Scheduling, and you too can make your clients think you’re working around the clock… or not.

Regular posting needn’t become the all-consuming, soul-sucking task it might appear to be. I know what it’s like to be a stressed-out, time poor business owner – but  now you can breathe a little sigh of relief because you can appear active and relevant on social media while doing other important things to keep your business running.

Facebook Scheduling

Click on the Status box as if you are going to write a post.  The box should expand to show three icons on the left below the text area.

before clicking in the page status box
Before clicking in the status box

after clicking in the page status box
After clicking in the status box

If you click on the first icon (a clock) a pop-up window will open, in the most recent update this now pops up with a calendar for you to easily choose the date you want to schedule your post for.

The number of years available for Scheduling depends on your business start date.  If you are using Facebook on your PC or laptop you will be able to Schedule posts to the 10-minute mark.  If you’re using the mobile app you can Schedule posts to the minute.

So get Scheduling!
